Ehsaan Ali

I am a Ph.D. Scholar at IRDL, CNRS UMR 6027, where I’m researching AI-driven Digital Twin systems for failure diagnosis and predictive maintenance in tidal energy turbines. My current work focuses on integrating machine learning, signal processing, and computer vision to improve energy efficiency and enable intelligent monitoring solutions in renewable marine systems.

I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (CGPA: 3.7/4 (18.5/20), Gold Medalist) from FAST NUCES Islamabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from SZABIST Islamabad. During my master’s studies, I explored areas such as deep learning, advanced machine learning, big data analytics, AI mathematics, and image processing. My thesis focused on deepfake detection using lighting inconsistencies in retinal and facial movements, blending computer vision with multimedia forensics.

Technically, I am a PIAIC Certified Artificial Intelligence Developer and a Microsoft Certified Python Expert, with hands-on expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn. In addition, I have two years of teaching experience as a Lab Instructor at FAST NUCES, where I mentored students in Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Deep Learning, and Python programming, helping them build strong practical and research-oriented skills.

I am passionate about bridging research with real-world applications, especially in renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and intelligent systems. Through innovation and collaboration, I aspire to contribute solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and human-centered.
